What's On ... For Kids
Sunday mornings
At Cornerstone we believe that children and young people are a really important part of the Church Family, so we have activities running every Sunday Morning, as part of the main service at Brighouse Civic Hall.
The first Sunday of the month is our All-Age service. Children and young people are invited to join in with as much of these services as they are able to, and if little ones need to make a noise, play with toys or move about the building that’s absolutely fine with us! Everyone is welcome! Every other Sunday we have different groups for the different ages. Pebbles is for ages 0-2 Stepping stones is for children aged 3-4 Rock Climbers is for children aged 5-10 Bridge Builders is for Young people aged 10-15 Each group involves activities, age-appropriate bible teaching and a fun time to help the children find out more about Jesus. |
the BRIDGE

The Bridge is a group for young people who are high school age or above; Its about food, friendship and digging into God's Word.
Cornerstone operates a strict safeguarding policy.
Here are the Church Designated Safeguarding contacts. All concerns must be raised with any of the team and they can provide support and advice, along with dealing with any Child Protection issues. Working Together to Safeguard People, we know that some people attending Cornerstone Church may be vulnerable and we have a moral duty to protect them, to ensure their needs are met and to support them and their family. As adults working with children, we have a statutory duty to ensure their safety and the healthy development of all children/adults in our care. As a church, we are strongly committed to working in close partnership with other agencies. It is every ones responsibility in church to ‘take special care’ to safeguard and promote the welfare of everyone. |
